greetings from virginia

mom and dad

I’m in Virginia for a bit visiting my parents.  Sharing a little classic from the late 1940′s.  Aren’t they adorable?   And you can certainly tell where my curly hair comes from, heh?

And guess who was daddy’s litle girl?

family capture

I had to laugh at finding a photo of me from the 50′s holding a doll.  I was such a tomboy.  I loved playing outdoors and riding my bicycle, but most of all…I loved being with my daddy.  He no longer remembers those days.  My daddy has Alzheimer’s and my mommy is full time caregiver.  I’ll share stories while I’m here.
