I can’t believe that during the 20 plus years that I’ve been coming to NYC that I’d never been to Carnegie Hall. Well I fixed that! What a delighting evening! Thanks Amy for the tickets and your company during our fabulous dinner at Bar Bao! (I’m still thinking about the tender duck confit with the poached egg on top!)

Sara Taveres, a Portuguese singer-songwriter entertained us not only with her angelic voice, but with her warmth and beauty as well. Her music was romantic, intimate and relaxed, very feminine with a combination of rhythmic jazzy, ballad and African. Outstanding!
