Cycling to Piermont, NY (part 2/4)

We entered Rockland County into the quaint picturesque village (incorporated in 1850) of Piermont. It’s located on the west bank of the Hudson River, just a few miles south of the Tappan Zee Bridge. A cyclist’s dream destination. We stopped at D & D community market to order lunch before heading to the pier. Now this is marketing and customer service at its finest. This place not only served up savory sandwiches at unbelievable prices, but take a look at what was at the front entrance! Who does this anymore?
