ruh-roh
This is my brain after taking control of my own cosmetic changes to my blog. So if you have seen any bizarreness…my apologies.
You see, I get bored easily and months ago I decided it was time to change my blog. We’re starting a new year, right? New blog!
So a little history…You see, I’m not a technical person AT ALL. My previous web guy (yes, I had a web guy) blew me off, then I hired a couple of guys during the past two months and let’s just say…I knew as much as they did. My latest attempt? So third time is a charm, right? This gal never even responded after meeting her for a coffee and spilling my desires. And I’m a paying customer! What’s up with you people???
So it looks like the universe is talking to me big time…….so after a few tutorials I’m taking charge. However, please forgive me if I screw up here and there…like having all my latest posts show up in your in-box if you are a subscriber! I’ll get better…I promise.

exciting news from nyc!

So excited to share the news! My first exhibit! This image was chosen for the Altered Reality exhibition at Calumet Photo Gallery here in NYC. This photo was taken in my backyard in Scottsdale, Arizona of a jacaranda tree at twilight, my absolute favorite time to photograph.
If you happen to be in the city, stop by beginning 9/27 thru 10/14 to check out all the wonderful images from so many fabulous women photographers!

contemporary papermaking at dieu donne, nyc
I have in my mind that one day… to print some of my photographs on my own handmade paper. Just how cool would that be?
So off I go to a paper making class…
If you ever want to learn to make your own paper then Dieu Donne is THE place to go in NYC. Fun was had during the three hour class as we donned our rubber boots and aprons, hogged our slurry and listened to the tunes of Lucinda Williams!
I could make paper all day long….hmm…perhaps a paper making studio in the garage in Arizona? Sounds like the perfect winter time activity in the desert to me!
