a daily routine…

Alzheimer's

Such precision!

A daily routine for my dad.

Even though he has Alzheimer’s…

he still remembers to turn the bed down in the late afternoon in preparation for bedtime!

So cute!

Well, I just might have to adopt your dad … any guy who makes his bed and whistles has my heart! But I’m so happy that he still has you & your mom.
Enjoy those days there, sweet girl.

It’s so great that he can still remember and do those daily routines. What a sweet..sentimental..beautiful moment captured!

This is such a beautiful image—exquisite in its simplicity, yet deeply moving because of all the little details you’ve captured—your dad’s intense focus, the walker in front of the door, the globe on the floor, and the small clock above the bed, a reminder of the passage of time. I could go on and on. Really lovely, Robin!

What a precious moment to capture forever, Robin! Remind me one day to tell you about watching Mom make the bed and realizing in that moment that something wasn’t right (this was when we were learning she had Alzheimer’s).

It is amazing how the mind works. Good to see that your dad has this routine. A very dear picture of your dad.
