neka

Fun and entertaining afternoon with little Neka in a spectacular private park next to the Viad Tower in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. Stunning life like sculptures filled the area.

Little Neka is the granddaughter of a good friend of mine and PRECIOUS as you can see. Love the name Neka…Native American Indian origin meaning “wild goose.”

Who do you know at two years old that’s starting their own business?

and you thought the desert was just about cacti…

Beautiful morning walking the greenbelt* and catching up with a good friend before heading for lunch with a group of work mates from years ago! Simple and so good!

*I bet you’re thinking…what the heck is a greenbelt? Well back in 1999, Scottsdale constructed a multi-use pathway through the parks as a method of flood control. Runs 7.5 miles, the length of the city, and is a hot spot for walking, rollerblading, jogging and cycling.

OH, and yes, I missed yet another wallop of a snow storm in MY city!!!
