- Hey! I'm the one on the left having some fun on a trip to Morocco! Thanks for stopping by! Having retired from the corporate world, my days are now packed with photography, blogging and seeing the world around me. My photography is varied...a reflection of who I am...my love of people...experiencing different lifestyles and cultures...with a little abstract thrown in!

NYC Water
First of all I think the tap water here in NYC is delicious so there has been little need for me to purchase bottled water except for the occasional bottled water snob that visits from Scottsdale…and you know who you are!!!
So effective this past weekend (how timely with the marathon!) I was so pleased that NYC has added a 5 cent deposit fee for bottled water purchased in the state. Can you believe that we buy 28 billion plastic water bottles every year and that 8 of of 10 end up in a landfill? Think about it folks.

Flower Power!
Getting by with a little help from my friends….It was a groovin good time celebrating Halloween in the city! We all shared peace and love with many characters throughout the night! Even Howie was getting his groove on!

New neighbor!
An Apple store is coming to my hood!! Only a couple of blocks from the Gotham den. The word on the street is it will open this month and I’ve read there will be a blue-green, filtered view into the store with one level above ground and two below. So we’ll see when the curtain opens!
