As someone who lives and walks this city daily…my blog is all about delving a little deeper, seeing what it has to offer, and capturing the true essence of New York City. Whether you live in Gotham, or just visiting…feel free to look around my blog. Bet you might find something new to do!
P.S. As of the end of April 2013 my more personal postings will now be at The Next Few Years.

Gotham Gal update!
I’m so delinquent on posting! Returned from heaven (oops…I mean Vermont) and have been playing in the city with Le Sher aka Petal. She told me all about Housewives of New York City so we decided to check out Jill Zarin’s fabric shop. (Oh, bb, you are going to love this place!) Visiting Zarin’s took us to the Lower East side so of course we had to make our way to spend a little time in Chinatown, Little Italy and Soho. We spent the afternoon having a few beers at one of my all time favorite bars, Broome Street Bar & Grill. I’ve been coming to this bar for over 20 years and it never changes. We ended up chatting with a couple of gals, one from Finland and the other from China, who are here for a few months on an educational exchange program. Fun! Recall the living room I mentioned in a past blog? Well a bunch of us will be going tonight after a stop for eats at Wo Hop in Chinatown. Yum…can’t wait.
